What costs can be shared between users?
There are several types of costs in Co-oto, each calculated differently to ensure fair distribution among all users of the shared vehicle.
Usage Cost
A fixed cost calculated per kilometer, configurable in the app by the owner. This per-km rate is applied to each trip made by borrowers.
Depreciation and Leasing Costs
You decide your annual leasing or depreciation costs. These are calculated pro-rata based on the distance traveled by users.
Other Annual Fixed Costs
Insurance, parking, taxes and other fixed costs that are calculated pro-rata based on vehicle usage time.
Usage Cost Configuration
In Co-oto, the usage cost allows you to define a per-km cost that will be taken into account for trips made by users. This setting is fully customizable by the vehicle owner.
The list of fixed costs can be found in the "Management" menu and must be carefully filled in by the vehicle owner. Borrowers can view these costs but cannot modify them.

How are these costs calculated when a user makes a trip?
For each trip, the user has access to a complete cost summary of their session. They can see in detail how the costs have been distributed according to the parameters set by the owner.

- Cumulative total since the last reset
