Sharing and calculating your car-sharing expenses
A key feature of the Co-oto car-sharing app is the ability to share the costs of owning and maintaining a vehicle. What are these costs and how does it work?

What costs can be shared between users?
There are several types of fees in Co-oto.
- Usage cost: a fixed cost calculated per km (configurable in the app)
- Annual fixed depreciation and leasing costs: you decide your leasing or depreciation costs. These are calculated on a pro-rata basis according to the distance traveled by users.
- Other annual fixed costs: insurance, parking space (full list below), which are calculated on a pro-rata basis according to usage time.

The list of fixed costs can be found in the “Management” menu and must be filled out carefully by the vehicle owner. Borrowers can view these costs but cannot change them.
- Vehicle liability and comprehensive insurance
- Other insurance

- Lump sum for variable expenses
- Incidental expenses
