Three ways to share your vehicle
With Co-oto, each owner/administrator chooses how to share their vehicle.
Whether you simply want to lend your car, track your daily journeys, or just organise bookings, there are three modes to suit your needs and your circle of trust.

Vehicle loan
Ideal for anyone who occasionally lends their car to relatives, neighbours or friends.
You lend your car to relatives or friends.
You set a price per kilometre and fixed costs, which are calculated proportionally based on distance and duration of use.
Your relatives record their journeys when they use the car. You do not have to record your journeys.
A statement calculates what they owe you.
You decide when repayment is due and reset the statement.
Logbook and sharing
The most collaborative mode, ideal for families, flatmates or small groups.
All users, including the administrator who creates a Co-oto account, record their journeys.
The administrator sets the usage costs per kilometre and the fixed costs, which are divided proportionally according to usage.
Everyone adds their journeys, fuel fill-ups and reservations.
Everyone has their own statement with their costs. The administrator of the group decides when this is reset.
The group organises itself freely to then divide up the costs.

Reservations only
For those who simply want to plan their vehicle usage without tracking costs.
You only use the booking calendar; all expense tracking functions are hidden in the user interface.
Users receive notifications when their booking is approaching.
Ideal for simple coordination without expense calculation.
