If you use it to back up expenses, keep in mind that tax rules and per-kilometer ceilings vary from one country to another, and sometimes from one canton to another. What is required to support a deduction is not the same everywhere. Before relying on your records, check with your tax authority or your accountant what applies to your situation.
Note for Germany and certain countries: the law there sometimes requires certified, tamper-proof trip logbook software (in Germany, a Fahrtenbuch that complies with GoBD requirements). Co-oto is not certified software and does not replace an approved solution where the regulations require one.
