Co-oto lets you hide the name and the comment of your trips from the other members of your carsharing circle. The rest of the trip belongs to the circle's shared record.

Privacy settings
Two settings control what other members read of your trips:
Hide my trip names
The name you give a trip or a booking ("Weekend in Annecy") becomes "Private trip" for every other member, including the circle owner.
Hide my trip comments
The free-text comment left on a trip stays readable by you alone.
The trip itself stays visible: date, times, distance, vehicle, cost and photos belong to the circle's shared record, which the cost sharing is built on.
Turning these settings on
The settings live in your profile:
- Open your Profile
- Tap Privacy
- Turn on the settings you want
- The change applies immediately
These settings are offered to the drivers of the circle.

Here is what is visible, depending on your settings:

Important note: hiding applies to the circle owner too — a hidden name or comment is no more visible to them than to the other drivers. The rest of the trip stays visible to the whole circle.
Data Protection (GDPR)
Co-oto complies with the General Data Protection Regulation:
- Right of access: You can request a copy of your data
- Right to rectification: Modify your information at any time
- Right to erasure: Delete your account and all your data
- Right to portability: Export your data (trips, statistics)
